Climate Prediction Center predicts increasing chance of El Nino pattern over coming months

U.S. weather forecaster Climate Prediction Center (CPC) said on Thursday there was an increasing chance of the El Nino weather pattern after expecting neutral conditions through the Northern Hemisphere spring 2014.

The U.S. Climate Prediction Center states that El Nino weather pattern to be neutral through Spring of 2014. However, they have changed their outlook and believe there is an increasing possibility of El Nino affect after remaining neutral through the Northern Hemisphere during the spring of 2014. A change in water temperatures indicates possible warming of waters in the foreseeable future. The CPC’s prior prediction was that conditions would be neutral through the summer of 2014.
