Chile, strike over in Punta Arenas

A strike in southern Chile over a hike in natural gas prices ended Tuesday after the federal government and city leaders reached an agreement. International tourists had been stranded at the Punta Arenas, Chile, airport for hours or longer without food because all of the roads leading out of it were blocked by strikers. One passenger told CNN that the only way out was either to walk 14 miles (22 kilometers) into town, or hop back on a flight out of the region. Read Article
