Chile, Monsanto sold seeds to Indigenous peasants

With 13 votes (on the right and one of the Concertación), 5 against and 6 abstentions, the Senate of Chile adopted on 11 May 91 UPOV Convention to prevent the peasants and indigenous peoples to save the seed and extend the lifetime of the rights and interests of transnational corporations selling hybrid and transgenic seeds in the country.
