Chile: airline under investigation after four safety incidents in five days

The statutory provision includes a complete revision to the areas of maintenance and operations of the company, who has starred in four incidents in the past five days, affecting passenger safety.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) today announced it will conduct a thorough investigation of the local airline, Sky Airlines, after four “events” recorded by their aircraft in recent days. “Following the occurrence of the last four events between July 18 and 23 of the same month, the DGCA has ordered a comprehensive audit covering all areas of the company,” the agency said in a statement.
