Chile, 16,000 women have taken postnatal leave since introduction of new law in October

The Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Evelyn Matthei, reported this morning that since the entry into force of the new law postnatal on 17 October, 15 421 permits have been granted six months postnatal. He further reported that in 25 cases, the mother gave him the benefit of his father, as the case of Pablo Osorio, who in January will be two weeks at home with her three months. Read Article
