Cancun Mexico: alleged members of Zetas apprehended in hotel zone

As narcocuotas responsible for the collection of dozens of vendors, three members of the criminal group “Los Zetas” including Julio Cesar Garcia Mateo (a) “Quesadilla”, were arrested by elements of the tourist police in the hotel zone when they were in a vehicle parked at kilometer 14 of Boulevard Kukulcan. “The Quesadilla” has been pointed out to extort money from street vendors in the beach area, requiring weekly payments as “dues” to the criminal group “Los Zetas”.
