Cali, Colombia: Spain Urges the Pacific Alliance to Cooperate on Anti-narcotics Efforts

From rtve.es on May 24, 2013- During the VII Summit of the Pacific Alliance, Spanish representative, Mariano Rajoy, urged the member states of the Alliance (Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Chile) to cooperate on a wide range of issues including the fight against drug trafficking. As a representative from an observer state, Rajoy offered the Spanish experience to the member states and said that the members of the Alliance should collaborate and share their experiences in order to be more effective in the fight against drug trafficking. In addition to drug trafficking, Rajoy urged the Alliance to cooperate on responding to natural disasters and education. Read Article
