Brazil: Tony Blair secures multi-million dollar contract to advise São Paulo government

Mr Blair’s consultancy — the Government Advisory Practice — landed a contract worth almost £4million a year to advise the state government of São Paulo, the economic powerhouse behind Brazil’s rapidly growing economy. About £2 million has been earmarked for the travel and accommodation costs and Mr Blair’s fees, according to the Brazilian company that signed the contract with him. The sum is disputed by Mr Blair.
