Brazil March retail sales up, but signs of easing

Retail sales in Brazil advanced for an 11th-consecutive month in March as the festive mood of the Carnival holiday caused consumers to open their pocketbooks, but there are signs that spending could be easing. Retail sales in March climbed a seasonally adjusted 1.2% from February, the Brazilian Census Bureau, or IBGE, said Thursday. Read Article
