Brazil: economy suffers largest drop September in last eleven months

The Brazilian economy suffered a contraction in September from 0.52 percent from August, its biggest drop in eleven months compared with the previous month, as an indicator of economic activity released by the Central Bank. The so-called Economic Activity Index Central Bank (IBC-Br), considered a behavior after gross domestic product (GDP) stood at 142.59 points in September after having reached 143.34 points in August.
