Brazil and Spain Conduct Joint-Operation Against Human Trafficking

Terra reported on July 7, 2013 that the Federal Police with the help of the Spanish police conducted “Operation Nymphs” both in Brazil and Spain against a gang suspected of trafficking woman. The gang is responsible for exploiting Brazilian women in Spain by promising work and instead forcing prostitution. Nine arrests were made in two nightclubs in which five of the suspects were Brazilian. Read Article
