Border Patrol starts program to `detour’ young smugglers

American teens and young adults are being recruited by Mexican drug runners to smuggle drugs into the United States, according to the Border Patrol. Special Agent David Jimarez says smugglers lure teens into the violent drug words with promises of fortunes to be made. He said teens are offered hundreds of dollars, told they will make fortunes and promised they won’t go to jail because of their age. Read Article
