Bogota Colombia averages six stolen vehicles a day

Stolen in Bogota, on average, six vehicles a day
According to a report supplied by the Research Center on Coexistence and Citizen Security (CEACSC) of the Mayor of Bogota, this year are 1,338 thefts of vehicles and motorcycles in Bogota.

The report reveals that between January and April this year in Bogota 804 stolen vehicles. According to the Department of Markets and statistics and Dijin Asopartes, April saw an increase of 7 percent compared with the previous year, in April 2011, there were 319 robberies while this year there have been 342 robberies vehicles.

On average six cars Bogotá are stolen daily. As for the theft of motorcycles, there have been 534 robberies. Read Article
