On March 7, 2013, Hoje Em Dia reported that the city of Belo Horizonte, capital of the state of Minas Gerais, reported another rise in dengue cases.  In just one week, the city reported 1,630 cases that could be attributed to the disease.  Pampulha alone reported 291 cases this week, the highest among any part of the city.  The Municipal Health Secretary, in response, has opened new clinics to address the matter, working to ensure the patients stay at least hydrated.  These clinics, called URV’s, will be available 24 hours a day and will have at least one doctor, one nurse, one technician and lab support available.  Read Article
