Belgian and Dominican arrested; Attempted to transport drugs to France and Spain

A Belgian citizen was arrested before boarding a plane to Paris, France with five kilos of cocaine hidden in a suitcase. Another individual, from the Dominican Republic, was also arrested before attempting to fly to Madrid, Spain, with capsules of cocaine in the stomach. Both suspects were flying from the Las Americas airport in Santo Domingo and were planning on boarding flights operated by Air Caraibes and Iberia, El Dia reports.
