Belén, Honduras: Drug Gang Territory Conflict Leads to Several Deaths

From lainformacion.com on August 6, 2013- Honduran authorities have confirmed the deaths of at least four people, among them one Nicaraguan and one Mexican. The deaths are the result of an apparent territory conflict between rival drug gangs in Honduras, although some have said that the dispute arose over a disagreement over 300 kilos of cocaine. Authorities have said that there may be more deaths involved. Honduras is a hotbed of drug activity with different groups vying for control of this country that see 79% of drugs that eventually make their way to Mexico. Read Article
