Bank Robbery exposes continued security flaws in Brazil

Near midnight on a Saturday a group of men in overalls entered a bank in the Brazilian equivalent of Wall Street, saluted the guard and said they were there to fix the alarm. More than 10 hours later they had perpetrated one of the largest bank robberies in Brazil, pouring more than 100 safety boxes be a billionaire booty rubies, Colombian emeralds, antique Rolex watches and cash. No alarms sounded and the guards offered no resistance.
