Army thwarts car bomb with 400 kilos of explosives in Cauca

Armythwarted a terrorist attack by the FARC with a car bomb in a rural area of the municipality of Miranda, in northern Cauca. Inside the vehicle were found 400 kilos of explosives that had been installed to be activated by remote control, looking to cause civilian terrorism and serious damage to the road infrastructure. According to the report of the Mobile Brigade No. 28 Task Force Apollo, the car bomb had been isntalled by members of the mobile column Gabriel Galvis’ squad in the village of Los Cabuyos of that municipality.
