Argentina tightens restrictions on purchases of dollars

Restrictions on buying dollars rose against Argentine consumers. Almost all operations were rejected by the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP, the Ecuadorian equivalent of the IRS), which controls the exchange market. In recent days, buyers of dollars saw their names were enabled to buy dollars, with a limit based on income, but at the time of approaching the exchange houses, were rejected.
