Argentina, Rescue 13 women forced into prostitution

Operations in Santa Fe and Córdoba over the weekend led to the rescue of 13 women who had been forced into prostitution at whiskey bars in Isla Verde, Monte Maíz and Santo Tomé. Of the 13 women, 3 were from Paraguay, 4 from the Dominican Republic and the other 6 from Argentina, according to lanacion.com.py. During the raids 4 people connected to the trafficking network in these provinces were arrested, including the owner of one of the whiskey bars and a man responsible for recruiting foreign women.
