Argentina, Chinese citizen arrested for extortion, escapes

Five policeman in Rosario, including the chief and deputy chief, are unavailable after the escape of a Chinese prisoner arrested for extorting money from his fellow countrymen. The man, probably linked to the “Chinese Mafia” in Argentina, was demanding money from Chinese merchants to allow them to stay in business. Officers are accused of helping the man escape.
