Arequipa Peru: First prison case of individual trafficking in archaeological cultural heritage items

The first case of imprisonment for illicit traffic of cultural heritage took place in Arequipa ordered preventive prison for nine months against Jhony Narrea Ramos was arrested several times for committing the offense, reported the Regional Directorate of Culture. The Regional Director of Culture, Julia Bustinza Barreda said that the Public Ministry denounced Narrea for the crime against cultural heritage and was admitted to the criminal Pucchún in the province of Camana last time investigations.
