Amapá, Brazil: Illegal Mining Raises Concern Along Border with French Guiana

Globo reported on August 14, 2013 that the issue of illegal mining and exploitation of gold by Brazilians (Gendarmes) along the border area of Amapá, Brazil and French Guiana was one of the issues of concern discussed at the VII Meeting of the National Strategy for Border Security (ENAFRON).
