Alternate Airport to be Built in the Savannah of Bogotá, Colombia

•Elespectador.com reveals that the planned airport involves an investment of 375 million USD on the Colombian government’s part which is to be decided before 2014.
•Santiago Castro, director of Aeronáutica Civil, did not give the intended location of the airport within the sabana de Bogotá in order to avoid price overrun.
•The airport will perform general aviation flights for the State as Villavicencio and Flandes will be strictly for cargo. Read Article
