Alleged U.S. narcotrafficker captured in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

John Darrel Krokos, 30, of the United States, was arrested in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico by state police. The Jornada reports that Krokos was wanted in the United States for drug trafficking, and Mexican authorities plan to extradite him to the United States. He was also arrested on counts of conspiracy and crimes against health. Krokos was captured when attempting to enter the exclusive Fluvial Vallarta division. He has been transported to a social rehabilitation center in Guadalajara. Officials in Guadalajara state his arrest was made possible through intelligence sharing and cooperation between Mexico and the United States. Read Article
