Alleged false plastic surgery doctors from Colombia charged in U.S.

Patients say they were disfigured and operations would have done without anesthesia.

The attorney general of New York announced today that it filed charges against two fake plastic surgeons and a doctor, all Colombians, for performing plastic surgery procedures several women, some of which were permanently disfigured.

Prosecutors identified the defendants as William Carlos Arango y Ordóñez, who have no medical license in the states of New York or Connecticut, and Marlon Castillo, who himself is a physician licensed to practice in New York, Connecticut and California, but is not certified as a plastic surgeon.
