A power outage left without electricity throughout Panama

A power outage due to a breakdown in the main transmission line of electricity has left the country without electricity across the country. The outage has caused an explosion in “three voltmeters tanks mainline” and estimated that it can take up to 5 hours. The power failure has caused traffic jams at the lack of traffic lights as firefighters have come to the rescue of people trapped in elevators. Panama has suffered nationwide power outage from 14:45 local time (19.45 GMT) by a fault in the main line of electricity transmission, something that has not affected the Panama Canal, which continues to operate normally. A spokesman for the Fire Department of Panama informed the local station Hot “not known at what time the service will be achieved restore” that has left the country without traffic lights, people trapped in elevators and cut the water supply in several sectors of the capital.
