Alert: Drought impacting 55 percent of Mexico

The Secretary of Environment, Natural Resources and Fisheries, Rafael Elvira Quesada, warned that the problem of drought and affect 55% of the country, where thousands of Mexicans have no jobs, food and water. Asked why the Chamber of Deputies from 500 to allocate 700 million pesos to double the amount of the Temporary Employment Program and dedicated to the reconversion of areas where farming or ranching is no longer possible because the drought causes permanent loss of crops and livestock deaths.
