Acapulco Mexico, gas stations suspend fuel sales in protest of extortion

Gas stations in the Mexican Pacific resort city of Acapulco temporarily suspended fuel sales to protest acts of extortion by organized crime gangs. The owners of service stations located along the main avenues of this popular domestic tourist destination closed shop for six hours Friday to express their displeasure with rampant impunity and a wave of organized crime-related violence in the city.
