Mexico, US – two drug runners escape pursuit by Border Patrol

At 5:00 am this morning the U.S. Border Patrol was in pursuit of a Jeep Cherokee with two individuals who had passed into U.S. territory near San Luis, Sonora, Mexico. The jeep became stuck a few meters from the border and the two occupants escaped on foot into Mexico. Border Patrol discovered a truck equipped with a hydraulic sytem that permitted the jeep to cross over the fence into the U.S. from Mexico. In the jeep authorities discovered 454.5 kilograms of marijuana. Read Article
