Mexico, arms getting through customs

Despite the multimillion-dollar federal investments to strengthen border inspection ports, U.S. weapons are entering into Baja California through land customs. In 2010, his first year of operation in Baja California, the System Monitoring and Control Vehicle (SIAV) only managed to detect a pistol and 31 bullets. So far, 2011 have seized two pistols, 613 bullets, two magazines, a bulletproof vest and a dagger at the customs border of the state. Read Article
