Spanish Immersion for Everyone

Whether you are getting ready to take a college placement test, need to learn Spanish for business reasons, or simply want to study abroad in Costa Rica, SG has a program for you.

All our students are united by a common thread: The desire to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and Tico culture in a beautiful setting. Set in the heart of Tamarindo, our Spanish school is just a block from the beach, and a short walk to everything in town.

Spanish students can choose to live either with one of our hand selected homestay families or stay in one of our student apartments. Our student apartments are located on campus, adjacent to the Spanish school and are equipped with air-conditioning, wireless hi-speed Internet, cable television and a full kitchen.

College Credit

Student Globe works with select US universities to offer college Spanish credit. Before registering, read our guidelines for obtaining credit.

Ride the Wave: Learn to Surf

We have partnered with the Costa Rica Surf Institute to offer surf lessons to all Spanish students who are interested in learning to surf while in Costa Rica.

Playa Tamarindo is consistently ranked one of the top beaches to learn to surf in all of Latin America. Tamarindo boasts one of the most consistent waves and beautiful settings in the world.

Through our weekend surf trips our more advanced students are also able to take advantage of the great surf at Playa Grande, Playa Avellanas, Witch’s Rock and Ollie’s Point.
