Arauca, Colombia: FARC leaves 315,000 Colombians in the dark

At least six municipalities of Arauca were without electricity for a guerrilla attack. They join the residents of Tumaco, with no power for 11 days. The attack, attributed by the Army to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia , initially affected populations Arauca, the departmental capital, Saravena, Fortul, Tame, Puerto Rondon and Arauquita. However, hours after the attack, the technicians were able to partially restore service to four of the municipalities. According to the reconstruction of the Army , on the afternoon of Tuesday, the Tenth Front guerrillas of the FARC attacked “with explosive power tower 470”, located in a rural area. Read Article
