Cartels scamming Mexicans into non existent jobs in U.S. via classified advertisements

Ads in newspapers in Tijuana that offered jobs in San Diego for those who have their papers in order, are increasingly common, and this has become a familiar scenario for the U.S. authorities, said ICE. In the past year a dozen people arrested carrying drugs at border crossings, said he knew nothing of the shipment and said they responded to a job advertisement in a newspaper. Driving across the border was only part of his new job, the agency warned. “All I focus on the job. We see working people who only seeks to help families being dragged into this game,” said Lester Hayes, ICE supervisor at the intersection of San Isidro San Diego UT daily.
