Supreme Court of Chile orders newspaper group to pay victims burned by published churros recipe

Chile’s Supreme Court ordered the newspaper group Copesa to pay compensation of nearly $ 160,000 by the concepts of moral and economic damage to 13 readers who were injured by following the steps in a recipe churros Women magazine published in the newspaper La Tercera in 2004 and led them burns. In a unanimous decision, the ministers of the Fourth Chamber of the Supreme Court determined that the company should compensate plaintiffs for 13 direct damage and suffering caused by the recipe for making churros, Chilean press reported.
