6.9 Earthquake Peru

The strong earthquake of 6.7 magnitude on the Richter scale that rocked the central coast of Peru left 83 people injured, two of them seriously, and caused serious damage to 35 homes of adobe in the Ica region, according the latest official data. Initial reports of the Civil Defense Institute (INDECI) was raised to 17 the number of wounded.A note from the Ministry of Health reported that up tonight, Friday, dozens of injured were treated at hospitals in Ica, Palpa, Ocucaje and Chincha.
