Mass kidnapping of migrants alleged in Mexico

As many as 100 illegal immigrants were taken hostage during an attack on a train in southern Mexico last week, the director of a Catholic charity said Tuesday, citing witnesses.
“From the testimonies given to us, the train was carrying around 300 migrants,” Father Heyman Vasquez, who runs a refuge along the route that took in around 50 immigrants who fled after the attack, told AFP. Read Article
