629 kilos of drugs stopped in Costa Rica along route to the Pacific

Police in Costa Rica intercepted a shipment of 629 kilos of cocaine that was being transported from the capital to the port in Puntarenas. According to a El Nuevo Diario report, the drugs were in a car hidden inside a cooler used for seafood. Investigators continue to look into the case to determine the origin of the drugs and whether more suspects were involved in transporting the drugs. Ríos Valera, a Costa Rican citizen, was arrested for driving the vehicle. Read Article
