3 FARC Guerillas Found Guilty for Kidnapping U.S. Citizen

•As El Espectador.com reports, Edilberto Berrío Ortiz, Alejandro Palacios Rengifo, and Anderson Chamapuro Dogimara were found guilty by a New York judge for the kidnapping of a U.S. citizen in Panamá.
•The three FARC guerrillas were arrested in Colombia in 2009 and extradited to the U.S. between 2010 and 2011.
•The victim was freed after the ransom was paid.
•Sentencing will commence October 24th and the U.S. has assured the Colombian government that the three guerillas will not receive a life sentence. Read Article
