$230,000 and 30 kilos of drugs found in pickup truck trailor, Mexico

Jesús Octavio Rivera Ramírez (32) and Orlando Antonio Rubio Rojo (27) were arrested in Tijuana after officials discovered they were transporting drugs and money in a pickup truck. Authorities spotted the vehicle along a main street and shortly after saw the driver jump out of the car and begin to run into a nearby premise. According to Frontera Info, after inspecting the truck, a package of “crystal” drugs were found. Additional packages were found inside a hidden compartment in the truck trailer. The passenger, Rubio Rojo, was seen tampering with the air conditioning in the vehicle, which led to the discovery of $230 thousand in cash hidden in the device.
