13 New Cars for the Medellin Subway, Colombia

•Colombia has imported 13 new cars for the Medellin subway system, as part of the effort named Confianza en el Futuro 2006-2013 (Confidence in the Future).
•According to the video by El Espectador, the new train cars will help to increase subway capacity.
•These subway trains from Spain are units of the widest models of subway cars in the world and will allow passengers to walk within them during transit.
•There will also be new security measures on the cars for passengers with disabilities. Read Article
