108 victims rescued from exploitation in Chiapas, Mexico

The Attorney General of the State of Chiapas has rescued 108 victims in the form of sexual and labor exploitation from the implementation of the Law to Combat, Prevent and Punish Trafficking in Persons in 2009. In addition, 38 have initiated criminal proceedings are in preliminary stage and there have been five convictions in the usual order and the first federal order throughout Mexico. Read Article
