‘Anonymous’ Member Who Coordinated Latin American Attacks Arrested

According to lavozdeasturias.es the Anonymous member who coordinated web attacks on Latin American government organizations, was arrested in a sting operation on May 20th. La Voz acquired access to court sealed documents where the suspect is being charged with electronic crimes and illicit association to a cyber terrorist group. The suspect, alias Devnuller, hid the server that coordinated Latin American cyber attacks in a house in Gijon, Spain. Police recovered the server, on May 20th, while the suspect was working as a merchant marine. Officials say that two service providers AnonWorld and Anonnet are coordinating the cyber attacks. Also officials say the two groups have a tenuous relationship but mostly coordinate cyber attacks on government bodies around the world. The police charge Devnuller with being one of the masterminds of the operation. Devnuller denies the charge.
