Sections of Torres del Paine National Park reopen for tourists

From 08:00 hours (January 4, 2012)the park began to receive tourists again, after closing last Friday was declared due to a fire that affects the area. The Torres del Paine National Park reopened for all age groups from 8 am this morning in a ceremony led by Finance Minister Paul Longueira.
Secretary of State with regional authorities participated in the work to control the fire greeted the tourists began to arrive this morning to walk the trails of the park.
For now, visitors can walk about 80% of the area visited by tourists (equivalent to 42% of the total area of ​​the park). For today is enabled by entering Laguna Amarga, to the vehicle can reach.
