Landslides close border with Chile Argentina, 130 tourists evacuated by plane from Chile

National Route 7 is cut by landslides. And the steps are kept closed to Chile in Mendoza and San Juan. Evacuated more than 100 tourists by plane. Hundreds of people were now isolated in the high mountains of Mendoza after landslides that cut traffic on National Highway 7, while more than 130 tourists were evacuated by air from Chile, because the land border closed for long indeterminate. A score of landslides and mud of the Andes, which occurred last week following heavy rains that affected the region of Cuyo, closed over both National Route 7, which communicates with Chile through the Cristo Redentor tunnel as step Agua Negra, on National Route 150 in San Juan.
