Ecuador: Manabi Province reporting highest number of Zika, Dengue cases

eldiario.ecreported a rose 1,106 the number of infected by the virus Zika in Ecuador, according to a report issued today by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), which notes that, in those cases, 73 correspond to pregnant women.
Manabi, with 940 cases, four of them imported, is the province most reported infected with the virus, followed by 77 cases of Esmeraldas, all native. Followed Guayas and Pichincha 34 infected with 27, according indormación provided by the MSP.

Of the total cases most are women, mostly aged between 20 and 49 years, said the Ministry, which reported 73 cases of pregnant women infected with the virus, of which 20 are in the first trimester, 32 in the second and 21 in the third. Read Article
