TAME Flight suspended, Quito – New York due to unscheduled maintenance

eluniverso.com / A group of passengers who planned to fly from Quito to New York in Tame complained Sunday morning about the suspension of the operation.

“Solution”, “Solution”, shouted passengers in the hall of the airport Mariscal Sucre, in Tababela. Travelers were due to depart on the EQ550 flight scheduled for 01:20 this Sunday, bound for New York, in the United States.

One person said that the airline raised the passengers and then lowered them without having a clear answer.

The airline re-scheduled the flight for 04:00 and 05:00, but until the morning did not solve the problem.

Tame offers the service on that route with only one aircraft, an Airbus A330, which was recently abroad to comply with a maintenance plan. During those weeks an A330 Turkish Airlines plane to cover the route.

Through its Twitter account , the airline said earlier that “personnel are working to give solution to passengers on the Quito-New York flight. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”
