Boliva: Two police detained in smuggling of foreing women for prostitution case

lahora.com.ec/EFE reported A Bolivian court ordered the arrest of two police officers accused of complicity in trafficking in foreigners for a case linked to a La Paz brothel denounced and demolished in September last year, the prosecutor’s office said.

The police, imprisoned in pre-trial detention, are Jacinto FG and Freddy AM and face charges of alleged human trafficking offenses in terms of complicity, migrant smuggling and criminal organization, the source said in a statement.

Officials operating in the eastern city of Santa Cruz were accomplices to women’s illegal entry into Bolivia and intimidated them into sexually exploited at the Katanas nightclub in La Paz, according to the prosecutor’s office. Read Article
