Churintzio, Michoacan: Mexican Vice Admiral Assassinated by Knights Templar

From rpp.com on July 28, 2013- An unidentified group killed Mexican Vice Admiral Miguel Salazar in an ambush in the state of Michoacan. The attack is thought to be the most recent in series of violent attacks in Michoacan perpetrated by the Knights Templar cartel. According to preliminary investigations the vehicle the admiral was travelling in left the highway at the Ecuanduero toll booth where there was a roadblock, allegedly forced by traffickers. The car took an unpaved road parallel to the highway and after entering Churintizio it was attacked by several men in suburbans. Read Article
