THINKING OF MOVING OR RETIRING TO ECUADOR – THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ

For Wladimir Arreaga , Inamhi specialist, ultraviolet radiation was shown with 11 points in Quito. “This score is considered by international scales as high series of radiation,” said the expert. Another superior employer presented the city of Riobamba with 12 points. These new climatic conditions contrast with the bad weather that occurs since January 1, 2018, when there were snowfalls , low temperatures, heavy rains and intense hailstorms in the Inter-Andean alley of Ecuador. According to the Institute on the night of Saturday, January 6, much of the Inter-Andean alley experienced skies with little cloud cover during the night and early morning. This resulted in low temperatures in the northern and central Sierra, respectively. The low temperatures are produced by a process of irradiation , this means that by not having a cloud cover that retains the energy is lost quickly during the night and early morning. And there are cases like today (Sunday), especially in Latacunga that experienced a low level with 1.7 oC and in the south of Quito with 1.8 oC. “Normal for the provinces, especially for the capital, are between 7 or 8 oC, for Latacunga from 7 to 9 oC, Ambato from 8 to 10 oC,” Arreaga said.
